On 18 October in Dong Thap, dragon fruit prices reached an all-time high; prices there had surged after a long period of decline on 16 October. On 17 September, farm-gate prices in the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong fell 53-90% to VND2,000-7,000 (8-27 US cents) per kilogram. On 24 September, Vietnamese dragon fruit exporters looked to India, while shipping to the Middle East slowed. Mekong Delta prices were recovering on 11 and 20 October after hitting rock bottom.
